Should I go back home?
Should it be this hard?
Here in my yard, then into room.
I think about it as I crack a Moosehead
Who’s that coming home, to you Red?
You wonder why I’m alone
I wonder why too
A clue so few on my birthday night
I asked you to dance
You smiled. Let me twirl.
I can’t even dance.
Still remember the pants on your lesbian girl
You see me ahead, you see me behind
You see me blind
To the things that we’re learning
Hard to reason when emotion keeps burning
Sometimes I can’t believe it
We last talked about when?
I’m moving back
Means I’m leaving again
Should the time find us both?
Would it be divine...
Imagine we took the oath?
A page out of Rhianna’s book
Somehow not a surprise, and possibly right
Into your arms and with you into the night
Then again you probably already did
The months and years can seem so short
He was the tall sort
Fate chose a name of Matthew on that kid
You’re poking me to do it
I’m poking too
Remember nudges
A clue so few under light at night
You smiled. Let me twirl.
I can’t even dance.
Still remember the pants on your lesbian girl.
Sometimes I can’t believe it.
We last talked about when?
I’m moving back.
Means I’m leaving again.

Placing
Here a space between the days
Silence is near: thoughts
Stay by themselves
The sun, the moon,
Tucked up on the shelf
There a place where one lays
Silence is fear: naughts
Animal fur shedding
The bride, the groom
And a beautiful wedding.
Silence is near: thoughts
Stay by themselves
The sun, the moon,
Tucked up on the shelf
There a place where one lays
Silence is fear: naughts
Animal fur shedding
The bride, the groom
And a beautiful wedding.
Cry
I don't know what to say I'm writing;
That's the sound of my heart, right then
Why do you whisper things so sweet?
Right on through to where you used to be.
I don't know where it could have gone;
Think you know, but more you know his song,
And maybe mine is too long
Tell me darlin do you hear that sound?
World is dying, it's no longer round.
(Or is it the brain?)
I sometimes wish I could go again,
So we could miss the pain and the sane
Tell me dear would you want me try?
You didn't even say goodbye.
I know it when you lie
You feel it when I,
You make me wanna...
Nothing left to..
That's the sound of my heart, right then
Why do you whisper things so sweet?
Right on through to where you used to be.
I don't know where it could have gone;
Think you know, but more you know his song,
And maybe mine is too long
Tell me darlin do you hear that sound?
World is dying, it's no longer round.
(Or is it the brain?)
I sometimes wish I could go again,
So we could miss the pain and the sane
Tell me dear would you want me try?
You didn't even say goodbye.
I know it when you lie
You feel it when I,
You make me wanna...
Nothing left to..
The Window
If I listen very closely
I start to hear the cries
Sun doesn’t know this
Moon is arced just right
The mind is a window
Look out to the sky
When I was with you
Close the drapes, shut the blinds
A breeze blows softly
Hurricane, oh my
You don’t owe me your light
This is all just a play
Another night is closing
Another darkness turns to day
You don't owe me your light
This is all just a play
Another night is closing
Another darkness turns to day
Love is a window
Blissful, so sublime
When I was with you
Freeze it all, stop time
A breeze blows softly
Hurricane, my ride
Yes you don’t owe me your light
I don’t owe you your way
The north star is falling
I find myself astray
Yes you don’t owe me your light
I don’t owe you your way
The north star is falling
I find myself astray
Out there
See us together
Dancing in the moonlight
Out there
See us together
Dancing in the moonlight
Year my dear
See us together
Before the breaking of the sunlight
Out there
Keep us together
Dancing in the moonlight
I start to hear the cries
Sun doesn’t know this
Moon is arced just right
The mind is a window
Look out to the sky
When I was with you
Close the drapes, shut the blinds
A breeze blows softly
Hurricane, oh my
You don’t owe me your light
This is all just a play
Another night is closing
Another darkness turns to day
You don't owe me your light
This is all just a play
Another night is closing
Another darkness turns to day
Love is a window
Blissful, so sublime
When I was with you
Freeze it all, stop time
A breeze blows softly
Hurricane, my ride
Yes you don’t owe me your light
I don’t owe you your way
The north star is falling
I find myself astray
Yes you don’t owe me your light
I don’t owe you your way
The north star is falling
I find myself astray
Out there
See us together
Dancing in the moonlight
Out there
See us together
Dancing in the moonlight
Year my dear
See us together
Before the breaking of the sunlight
Out there
Keep us together
Dancing in the moonlight
